Hello, I'm new here. I've recently gotten a Siberian Husky and he's only 5.5 weeks old. We live in a condo and we're trying to crate train him but he's being very fussy.
He will go into his crate willingly, but when the door is closed and locked, he will scream bloody murder! His crying usually lasts about 5-10 minutes but since he's a puppy he needs to go eliminate every hour, and it's back to square one.

Can anyone give me some pointers?
Thanks!

5.5 weeks old seems a little young. You may run into some seperation issues there. My mom and me had a siberian huskey when I was a child and she wasn't much for the crate either. She knew how to open it by the time she was 4 months old and she would rip everything apart. All in all she was an excellent dog, beautiful and loyal. She just had bounds of ENERGY! Good luck with her!
