Hey everyone. I work for Purina and we've just release details about a new, first of it's kind Pet Discovery & Community Centre that will be launching this summer at Harbourfront in downtown Toronto.

For the centre, the Purina PetCare Legacy will be holding a Career Fair titled "The Job Your Pet Wants You To Have." Since everyone in this group loves pets I thought you would want to know!

Career Fair for New Pet Community & Discovery Centre

In preparation for the summer launch of a first-of-its-kind Pet Community & Discovery Centre, the Purina PetCare Legacy will be holding a Career Fair called “The Job Your Pet Wants You to Have”.

The Pet Community & Discovery Centre will offer the kind of environment where dog and cat lovers have always wanted to work – a place where people can celebrate their love of our four-legged friends. It is a pet-friendly and pet-accessible, 16,000 square foot centre focused on encouraging responsible pet ownership.

We are looking for people with event, pet, and/or retail experience. The following positions are available:

~ Full-time Operations Manager

~ Full-time Exhibit & Event Supervisor

~ Part-time Pet Education Specialists

~ Part-time Exhibit & Event Staff

~ Part-time Gift Shop Staff

“The Job Your Pet Wants You to Have” Career Fair will take place in the Brigantine Room in the York Quay Building at the Harbourfront Centre on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Monday, April 28, 2008 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
